Welcome to the 2022 - 2023 school year!
Dear students & families,
Hello and welcome to Kindergarten! I am so thrilled to meet all of my new and wonderful students for the upcoming year. By staying positive and working together, we will ensure a bright year for you and your children.
This will be my fifth year teaching at Taunton School, and I've loved every minute of it! Being in the classroom and working with students and watching them grow in front of my very eyes is the most rewarding thing. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher! I graduated from Loyola University Maryland with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education, and have obtained my master's degree from Georgian Court University for Literacy/Reading Specialist. Teaching is my favorite thing in the world, and I'm so excited to begin this new school year together!

Please review some tips & reminders!
1. Remind
We will be using the Remind app for our main point of contact throughout the school year. Use the class code to join our class and stay up to date with messages and reminders.
2. Seesaw
Download the Seesaw class app. It will be very helpful to download the app onto the device your child is comfortable using, because it will be the main way that they view and complete assignments, watch videos, and take pictures of their work throughout the year. (You can also download it onto your smart phones and login as the parent, to see the work that they upload...but this will come later!) Seesaw is a wonderful tool that keeps us connected!
3. Snack
Students will be given time to have a snack in school. Please be sure to pack them a drink and a snack that they are comfortable and capable of opening independently. Students should also bring a reusable water bottle to school.
4. Reach Out!
I am always here to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your child's academic, social, behavioral, and emotional needs. Please email me if you need anything and I will get back to you as soon as I can! I am looking forward to a terrific year.
